Founded in 2016, NextUp Comedy has rapidly positioned itself as a leading digital destination for stand-up comedy lovers worldwide. Created by industry experts Daniel Berg, Sarah Henley, and Kenny Cavey, the platform was built with a mission to revolutionize how audiences experience live comedy by bringing the energy of comedy clubs directly to viewers’ screens.

At its core, NextUp offers a powerful subscription-based streaming service featuring a rich library of over 200 comedy specials, short sets, and exclusive content from both rising stars and well-known comedians. Users can enjoy weekly livestreams from iconic venues and global events like the Edinburgh Fringe, creating an immersive “live-from-home” entertainment experience.

What truly sets NextUp apart is its strong commitment to supporting the comedy ecosystem. With a unique 50/50 revenue-sharing model, half of every membership fee goes directly to comedians and venues, empowering creators and sustaining the live comedy industry.

Beyond content, NextUp functions as a vibrant community where fans can interact during livestreams, join discussions, and even participate in exclusive Q&A sessions with comedians. This creates a deeply engaging and social entertainment environment unlike traditional streaming platforms.

In terms of achievements, NextUp has been widely recognized as the “Netflix of UK stand-up comedy,” partnered with major platforms like Amazon Channels and Samsung Smart TV, and even earned the title of Apple’s “App of the Day.”

With continuous innovation, global accessibility, and a rapidly expanding content library, NextUp Comedy is not just a streaming service—it’s a dynamic movement redefining the future of live comedy entertainment
